Christmas is a time for giving, celebration and indulgence.
But for some Jersey families and communities it is a massive struggle, with not enough money to put a turkey on the Christmas table or to pay the bills, let alone buy presents for their children and grandchildren. These are the people who can benefit from the Jersey Christmas Appeal, and this is why the Appeal is so important.

Who's behind the Jersey Christmas Appeal?
The Appeal is primarily a collaboration between five of Jersey's service clubs.
The Lions Club
The Lions Club of Jersey are responsible for identifying the recipients of vouchers. They also administer the list of people in need and check the validity of all applications.
The Rotary Club of Jersey
The Rotary Club of Jersey undertakes the town street collections in the run-up to Christmas.
Rotary Club de la Manche
Rotary Club de la Manche are responsible for the Big Boot Sale and the Radio Auction.
The Soroptimists
The Soroptimists undertake the collections at out of town outlets.
Jersey Round Table
Jersey Round Table organise the Christmas sleigh runs with visits to various Parish Halls and community centres across the island.
All the clubs jointly organise a Festive Friday fun fundraising day leading up to Christmas.
